Policy Priorities

- Federal: Adopt language in the Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Bill directing USPS to meaningfully pilot non-bank financial services at scale.
- Federal: repeal language in the 2006 Postal Accountability & Enhancement Act that prohibits USPS from offering new services, so it can grow and change with rural communities’ needs.

It funds the USPS and removes artificial barriers to economic sustainability. The Act also supports reliable delivery across the country. It also empowers local communities to collaborate with the USPS to secure access to even more essential services, including banking and fishing licenses.
