Protect and Strengthen the United States Postal Service (USPS)

The postal service is an essential part of rural life, supplying everything from prescription drugs to critical supplies. USPS is also a critical hub for other essential services and can be expanded to better serve rural communities.

Policy Priorities

  1. Federal: Pass the “USPS Fairness Act” and “Postal Banking Act

The Postal Service Reform Act passed in 2022. It funds the USPS and removes artificial barriers to economic sustainability. The Act also supports reliable delivery across the country and enables the USPS to collaborate with local governments to provide non-postal services.
